The Colorado Address Confidentiality Program (ACP) is a statewide program that provides survivors of stalking, sexual assault, and domestic violence with a legal substitute address and mail forwarding. Under Colorado law, all state and local government agencies must accept a participant’s substitute address. ACP services are intended to enhance a comprehensive safety plan and contribute to increased survivor safety. Since its inception in July of 2008, the ACP has served over 12,000 survivors. The Benevolent Fund is to minister to individuals or families during hardship and crises by temporarily assisting them with their basic needs, including utilities, rent, car payments, motel/hotel room, etc. All disbursements are made directly to the party or entity to whom payment is due and not in cash given directly to the individual or family requesting assistance. Individuals or families seeking help from the Benevolence Fund provide invoices or account information, including the amount due if applicable. A request form must be obtained by the finance person and filled out to receive funds.

Ready, Set, Go Bags to be given to contact individuals and/or groups (civic, community, college and church groups)
They would have bags on hand and prepared in the event a contact person feels they could use one. If it is never needed it can be returned or given to any DV advocacy program.
The bag is to be given to a contact person – this is the person that the victim would call or reach out to for help. NOT TO THE VICTIM THEMSELVES. The contact person then fills a gallon zip lock bag with the personal items (if not already provided), helps the victim collect the copied and other items on the list. And keeps the bag in a safe place for when the victim is ready to leave.
