We are sad that there is a need for Ready, Set, Go Bags for children. It is, however, a part of domestic violence that effects not just women and men but also the children. Here is a list of items we are placing in the bags for children. We appreciate all donations including monetary and gift cards that we have received to help purchase these items. We are so grateful!! Thank-you!!.
In Search of people to sew the Ready, Set, Go Bags for Domestic Violence survivors. We have Bags made with two fat corders to make a 16 1/2" x 21" bag with buttons or grommets, with shoestrings or rope as straps. But We will accept any type of cloth bags that will fit the contents to give away.
In Search of
knitters and crocheters.
We are looking for wonderful people to make prayer shawls to add to Ready, Set, Go Bags for Domestic Violence survivors. The ones we have are 5 inches by 5 feet long. It would be fine if they are 4 feet long. Each stitch on the prayer shawl is a prayer for the receiver and is meant to be wrapped around them as comfort.
We can provide yarn if needed just message us.
Please pass this along if you know someone that can make prayer shawls.
Thank-you Katelyn Saxton for helping us out .
Your support will enable us to help anyone who is in need of help from domestic violence.

Ready, Set, Go Bags to be given to contact individuals and/or groups (civic, community, college and church groups)
They would have bags on hand and prepared in the event a contact person feels they could use one. If it is never needed it can be returned or given to any DV advocacy program.
The bag is to be given to a contact person – this is the person that the victim would call or reach out to for help. NOT TO THE VICTIM THEMSELVES. The contact person then fills a gallon zip lock bag with the personal items (if not already provided), helps the victim collect the copied and other items on the list. And keeps the bag in a safe place for when the victim is ready to leave.
